This patient is a 37 year old man from Columbus, Ohio, who wanted improvement of his lower legs or calf augmentation. During his consultation with the plastic surgeon, Dr. Bivik Shah at the Columbus Institute of Plastic Surgery, he decided to proceed with calf implant surgery. The after pictures are 3 ½ months after surgery. The scar is in the knee crease and usually about 1.5 inches long. Scars after any type of surgery usually take about 1 & 2 years to fade completely, so this scar will continue to fade and become barely noticeable.
